| 概要 | Better AuthはTypeScript向けの認証および認可ライブラリです。バージョン1.6.5以前では、clientPrivilegesオプションがcreateアクションを文書化していましたが、OAuthクライアント作成エンドポイントは新しいクライアントを保存する前にフックを呼び出していませんでした。clientPrivilegesを設定してクライアント登録を制限している環境では、実際には制限が効果を持たず、認証された任意のユーザーがcreateエンドポイントにアクセスし、攻撃者が選択したリダイレクトURIやメタデータを持つOAuthクライアントを登録できてしまいました。この脆弱性はバージョン1.6.5で修正されています。 |

| 概要 | Better Auth is an authentication and authorization library for TypeScript. Prior to 1.6.5, the clientPrivileges option documents a create action, but the OAuth client creation endpoints did not invoke the hook before persisting new clients. Deployments that configured clientPrivileges to restrict client registration were not actually restricted — any authenticated user could reach the create endpoints and register an OAuth client with attacker-chosen redirect URIs and metadata. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.5. |
