概要	libvirt の LXC ドライバ (lxc/lxc_driver.c) には、"/proc/$PID/root 配下のパス" および virInitctlSetRunLevel 関数に関する処理に不備があるため、任意のホストデバイスを削除される、任意のノード (mknod) を作成される、およびサービス運用妨害 (シャットダウンまたはホスト OS のリブート) 状態にされる脆弱性が存在します。
想定される影響	ローカルユーザにより、(1) virDomainDeviceDettach API およびコンテナ内の / dev へのシンボリックリンク攻撃を介して、任意のホストデバイスを削除される、(2) virDomainDeviceAttach API およびコンテナ内の / dev へのシンボリックリンク攻撃を介して、任意のノード (mknod) を作成される、および (3) virDomainShutdown または (4) virDomainReboot API およびコンテナ内の /dev/initctl へのシンボリックリンク攻撃を介して、サービス運用妨害 (シャットダウンまたはホスト OS のリブート) 状態にされる可能性があります。

概要	The LXC driver (lxc/lxc_driver.c) in libvirt 1.0.1 through 1.2.1 allows local users to (1) delete arbitrary host devices via the virDomainDeviceDettach API and a symlink attack on /dev in the container; (2) create arbitrary nodes (mknod) via the virDomainDeviceAttach API and a symlink attack on /dev in the container; and cause a denial of service (shutdown or reboot host OS) via the (3) virDomainShutdown or (4) virDomainReboot API and a symlink attack on /dev/initctl in the container, related to "paths under /proc/$PID/root" and the virInitctlSetRunLevel function.
