概要

Google Chrome で使用される libxslt は、メモリを適切に管理しないため、サービス運用妨害 (アプリケーションクラッシュ) 状態となる脆弱性が存在します。

想定される影響 第三者により、XPath ナビゲーションの間、下記の項目に関連する適切に識別されない巧妙に細工された XSLT 式を介して、サービス運用妨害 (アプリケーションクラッシュ) 状態にされる可能性があります。  (1) libxslt/pattern.c の xsltCompileLocationPathPattern 関数 (2) libxslt/functions.c の xsltGenerateIdFunction 関数

概要

libxslt 1.1.26 and earlier, as used in Google Chrome before 21.0.1180.89, does not properly manage memory, which might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted XSLT expression that is not properly identified during XPath navigation, related to (1) the xsltCompileLocationPathPattern function in libxslt/pattern.c and (2) the xsltGenerateIdFunction function in libxslt/functions.c.
