Open5GS バージョン 2.7.7 までにセキュリティ脆弱性が検出されました。影響を受けるのは、コンポーネント NRF のライブラリ /lib/sbi/conv.c 内の関数 ogs_sbi_discovery_option_parse_plmn_list です。target-plmn-list 引数の不正操作によって、サービス拒否（DoS）攻撃が発生する可能性があります。この攻撃はリモートから実行できます。エクスプロイトが公開されており、悪用される危険があります。問題は早期に報告を通じてプロジェクトに通知されましたが、まだ対応されていません。
