VMWare ESX Server で使用される OpenPegasus Management サーバは、PAM 用に定義された PEGASUS_USE_PAM_STANDALONE_PROC でコンパイルをされる際、PAM 認証に関する処理に不備があるため、バッファオーバーフローの脆弱性が存在します。 本脆弱性は、CVE-2008-0003 とは異なる脆弱性です。
