Linux 用の VMware、ESX Server、および Infrastructure の vmware-config.pl は、Perl chmod 関数呼び出しからのリターンコードをチェックしないため、安全でない umask で SSL 鍵ファイルが作成される状態となり、SSL 鍵を読み取られる、または変更される脆弱性が存在します。

vmware-config.pl in VMware for Linux, ESX Server 2.x, and Infrastructure 3 does not check the return code from a Perl chmod function call, which might cause an SSL key file to be created with an unsafe umask that allows local users to read or modify the SSL key.
